SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Implementation details of SCR766 and NPRR384

LONG DESCRIPTION:  On October 27, 2011, ERCOT will implement System Change Request (SCR) 766, Load Zone and Hub LMPs Distributed by ICCP (formerly "Load Zone Price Distributed by ICCP"), which was approved by the ERCOT Board on August 16, 2011, and Nodal Protocol Revision Request (NPRR) 384, Revisions to Support SCR766, Load Zones and Hub LMPs Distributed by ICCP (formerly "Load Zone Price Distributed by ICCP"), which was approved by the ERCOT Board on September 20, 2011. The implementation of SCR766 and NPRR384 will allow Load Zone and Hub LMPs to be distributed by Inter-Control Center Communications Protocol (ICCP) as soon as the five-minute prices are calculated in Real-Time. The following Load Zone and Hub LMP data will be made available:

This same pricing data is also currently available in near real-time on the ERCOT.com website at http://www.ercot.com/content/cdr/html/hb_lz.
ACTION REQUIRED:  To receive the Load Zone and Hub LMP data via ICCP, Qualified Scheduling Entities (QSEs) need to implement the ICCP changes. QSEs may contact the ERCOT ICCP team at [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> to obtain specific Object Names for their system implementation. The ICCP Handbook will be updated with the LMP data Object Name and published following the ERCOT approval process.
Note that an ERCOT Wide Area Network (WAN) connection is required to receive price data via ICCP.

For NPRR348, pursuant to Protocol Section 21.6, Nodal Protocol Revision Implementation, ERCOT is required to provide notice as soon as practicable, but no later than ten days prior to implementation.
