SHORT DESCRIPTION: Additional implementation details of SCR761

LONG DESCRIPTION: On February 24, 2012, ERCOT will implement the changes necessary to provide price correction reports programmatically, as indicated in System Change Request (SCR) 761, Provide Price Republication Notifications via API and Provide Price Corrections via XML. This Notice provides additional implementation details to Notice M-B020212-01 (see below).
The following reports will be updated with price corrections:
* NP4-180-ER, Historical DAM Load Zone and Hub Prices, Report Type 13060
* NP6-785-ER, Historical RTM Load Zone and Hub Prices, Report Type 13061
The Historical Pricing reports are updated weekly on Sunday evenings. At generation time, the historical pricing reports look for price correction records for a particular day/hour/interval/settlement point and if they exist, the price values are updated with the corrected price value. The Price Correction reports contain columns for both the original prices and the corrected prices. The Historical Pricing reports contain one Settlement Point Price column, which is the last value of the SPP (whether original or corrected).
ERCOT is limited by the reporting tool to a download size of no more than 65,000 rows per tab. For months when there are more than 65,000 rows of data, 65,000 rows will be on the first tab for the month, and the remainder will be on the following tab. In the Historical Pricing files, the tabs are listed as Month '_' tab number. Because there is one tab per month, it is displayed as 'JAN_1', 'FEB_2', 'MAR_3', etc. Worksheets will still be named with the month and sequential number, but there will be more than one tab per month. For example, when Feb has more than 65,000 rows, the tabs will look like the following: 'JAN_1', 'JAN_2', 'FEB_3', 'FEB_4', 'MAR_5', 'APR_6', 'MAY_7', etc.

LONG DESCRIPTION: On February 24, 2012, ERCOT will implement the changes necessary to provide price correction reports programmatically, as indicated in System Change Request (SCR) 761, Provide Price Republication Notifications via API and Provide Price Corrections via XML. These reports have been posting manually since Nodal go-live. There are links currently in the Market Information System (MIS) and on ERCOT.com for Day-Ahead Price Corrections, Real-Time Price Corrections and SASM Price Corrections. You will use these same links to access the new programmatic reports. The links can be found on ERCOT.com under Market Information, Market Prices, Price Corrections (http://www.ercot.com/mktinfo/prices/).

External Web Services (EWS):
In addition to the availability of reports in XML format, External Web Services (EWS) changes will be implemented to allow the programmatic query of the data using the GetSPP/GetLMP web service. All price correction reports can be retrieved using the GetReport service. The new nouns/requests are:
* SPPsPC
* LMPsPC
* SCEDViolatedConstraintsPC
There are also three new automated alerts from EWS: PRC_CORR_SCED, PRC_CORR_DAM and PRC_CORR_SASM. EIP External Interfaces Specification and External Web Services XSDs have been updated and are available on the ERCOT Website at http://www.ercot.com/services/mdt/xsds/index.
Examples of file naming conventions:
Within the existing price correction postings, the file names will indicate the type of correction. All price correction files will be available in both csv and xml formats and all reports will follow a consistent naming convention:
cdr.reporttypeid.16digitduns.yymmdd.hhmiss.freeformfilename.zip
All report type IDs are available in the ERCOT Market Information List under the Services pages on the MIS and the ERCOT Website (http://www.ercot.com/services/mdt/ ). For all of the price correction files, the DUNS number will be all zeros. Below is example information on the free form file name for each price correction report.
