SHORT DESCRIPTION: Postponement of NPRR 393 Monthly Reporting

LONG DESCRIPTION: On September 26, 2013 and October 4, 2013, ERCOT issued the Market Notices below announcing the posting of two new Market Information System (MIS) reports pertaining to SCED Constraint Management Transparency pursuant to NPRR 393.
ERCOT has encountered some issues with the monthly report, NP6-572-ER, Monthly Real-Time Congestion Report - Chronic or Severe Constraints, originally expected to begin posting in November and will not be posting the monthly report until the issues are resolved. ERCOT will provide details via a Market Notice pertaining to the expected deployment of the monthly reports as the delivery date becomes available.

LONG DESCRIPTION: On September 26, 2013, ERCOT issued the Market Notice below updating market participants on system changes pursuant to Nodal Protocol Revision Request (NPRR) 393, SCED Constraint Management Transparency.
The file naming convention for the new reports will be .xls and not .zip as previously communicated:

SHORT DESCRIPTION: REMINDER - Implementation details for NPRR393, SCED Constraint Management Transparency

LONG DESCRIPTION: On October 7, 2013, ERCOT will deploy its system changes pursuant to Nodal Protocol Revision Request (NPRR) 393, SCED Constraint Management Transparency, which was approved by the ERCOT Board on April 17, 2012.
NPRR 393 requires ERCOT to post daily and monthly reports on the Market Information System (MIS) Secure Area as indicated below. These postings will list all constraints with pre-contingency or post-contingency flows exceeding the associated Transmission Element Rating for more than 15 consecutive minutes which were not activated in Security Constrained Economic Dispatch (SCED). An explanation of why each constraint was not activated is to be included in the posting. The migration to production on October 7, 2013 is pending testing; a notice will be provided if that date changes.
Two new reports will be posted on the MIS Secure Area on the Markets - Real-Time Markets landing page, in the Real-Time Operations portlet. Further information on the new reports is provided in the table below.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Pursuant to Protocol Section 21.6, Nodal Protocol Revision Implementation, ERCOT is required to provide notice as soon as practicable, but no later than ten days prior to implementation.
