SHORT DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT is launching the new Planning and Operations
Information (POI) website

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  Users of the Operations and System Planning Data
website

DAY AFFECTED:  July 7, 2008  

LONG DESCRIPTION:  Effective July 7, 2008 the Operations and System
Planning Data website will be removed from service and will be replaced
with the Planning and Operations Information (POI) website.  The POI
website will be made available through ERCOT's public website
(http://www.ercot.com/ <http://www.ercot.com/> ) in the "VIEW OTHER
ERCOT WEBSITES" section.

All registered users of the current "Operations and System Planning
Data" website will be required to register in order to access the new
website.  Users can register for access at http://planning.ercot.com
<http://planning.ercot.com/>  and are asked to allow five business days
for processing. 

ACTION REQUIRED:  All interested parties may register for access to the
new website beginning June 26, 2008.  To register, go to
http://planning.ercot.com <http://planning.ercot.com/>  and click on the
"Register for Access" link.
