SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Outage of Outage Scheduler
INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants
DAY AFFECTED:  July 21, 2009
LONG DESCRIPTION:  After an EMMS (Energy & Market Management System) site failover, ERCOT experienced an outage of the Outage Scheduler from 10:55 AM until 11:41 AM on July 21, 2009. The outage was caused by an incorrect configuration file. The post failover script will be updated to help identify this type of issue in the future.
