NOTICE TYPE: W-B081508-03 Operations

CLASSIFICATION: Public

SHORT DESCRIPTION: Unit Test Web Application Enhancements

INTENDED AUDIENCE: QSEs

DAY AFFECTED: October 9, 2008

LONG DESCRIPTION: The Net Dependable Capability and Reactive Capability
(NDCRC) application has been available through the Texas Market Link
(TML) since September 1, 2008 for Market Participants. This application
is a web interface that allows Qualified Scheduling Entities (QSEs) with
Generation Resources to submit the ERCOT-required seasonal High
Sustainable Limit (HSL), biennial unit reactive tests, and results of
the unannounced tests online.

Please note that for Jointly Owned Units (JOUs), the Master QSE only
should submit the Seasonal HSL, and the HSL submitted should reflect the
whole physical unit.

The Net Dependable Capability and Reactive Capability (NDCRC)
application will be enhanced on October 9, 2008, as follows:

*	A Custom Filter function has been added to each Summary page.
It provides options to view tests specified by attributes that you
select. You can specify test dates, stations, units, or temperature. The
custom filtered list will replace the existing summary page and will
remain in effect until you select the default filter (current season or
current year), specify another custom filter, or close the browser
session.
*	Functionality has been added to enter Real Power Tests for
multiple stations and units and send in one submission.
*	Help files have been added to the application. Click the
question mark icon in the upper right of each screen to access help.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Effective December 1, 2008, use of the NDCRC
application is mandatory for submitting seasonal, biennial unit tests
and results of unannounced tests. Paper copies will not be accepted
after December 1, 2008.
