SHORT DESCRIPTION: ERCOT has an off-cycle Retail Release beginning
12:00 PM Saturday, August 16, 2008 through 12:00 AM Monday, August 18,
2008. As a result of this Release, the attached PR70007_01 MarkeTrak
Enhancements - Release 2B .wsdl, .xsd, and Bulk Insert Appendix A
changes will be implemented. The attached .wsdl, .xsd is at 90%
complete pending testing.

LONG DESCRIPTION: ERCOT has an off-cycle Retail Release beginning 12:00
PM Saturday, August 16, 2008 through 12:00 AM Monday, August 18, 2008.
As a result of this Release the attached PR70007_01 MarkeTrak
Enhancements - Release 2B .wsdl, .xsd, and Bulk Insert Appendix A
changes must be implemented. The attached .wsdl, .xsd is at 90%
complete pending testing. The final Release 2 Bundle will be delivered
by 08/01/2008.
The following requirements will be implemented as part of Release 2B:
Requirement 5 - Market: Add Bulk Insert Number to Issues
Requirement 9 - Market: Require Comments for Siebel Chg/Info Sub-Types
Requirement 10 - Market: Add Service Period Start Date Field to Missing
Transaction, Projects, Siebel Chg/Info, Other, Usage and Billing and REP
of Record Subtypes. Add Service Period Step Date Field to REP of Record
and usage and Billing Sub-types.
Requirement 11 - Market: Add ISA Field to Submit for 997, Projects, and
Other Sub-types
Requirement 12 - Market: Add a new required field to the Reject Sub-type
to provide the Reject Reason
Requirement 20 - ERCOT: Provide "First Touched Date"
Requirement 30 - Market: Add "New Total" Required Field to Certain DEV
IDR Sub-types
Requirement 34 - Market: Special Character Requirements
ACTION REQUIRED: Market Participants who utilize MarkeTrak API will
need to update their .wsdl and .xsd files for use after this Retail
Release is completed. The updated versions are attached.
Please be aware, if you use the MarkeTrak API, you must keep your
existing code for the Inadvertent Switch workflow. This existing code
will need to be utilized in order to update old Inadvertent Switch
issues that were submitted prior to August 18, 2008.
The attached Bulk Insert Appendix A will need to be used to submit a
Bulk Insert issue following this release. ERCOT will not supply the bulk
insert templates for Release 2.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The PR70007_01 MarkeTrak Enhancements - Release
3 .wsdl and .xsd will be sent to the market on Monday, September 22nd,
2008.
The Release 2B .wsdl, .xsd, and Bulk Insert Appendix A will be posted
tomorrow, June 24th to the MarkeTrak Information page (

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Due to 'sandbox' requests from Market
Participants involved in the Phase 2 project and the size of development
and testing efforts, ERCOT has divided coding for the Release on August
16, 2008 into two sections. As a result the .wsdl and .xsd for the
second 'bucket' of requirements to be implemented on August 16, 2008
will be provided in a separate Market notice on Monday, June 23, 2008.
The Release 2A .wsdl, .xsd, and Bulk Insert Appendix A will be posted
tomorrow, Tuesday, June 3rd to the MarkeTrak Information page (
