NOTICE TYPE:  R-B073109-01 Informational:  Ad Hoc Retail Market Calls for Expedited Switch

SHORT DESCRIPTION:  RMS request for Ad Hoc Retail Market Calls regarding implementation of the rule for the expedited customer switch.

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  CRs and TDSPs

LONG DESCRIPTION:  The Retail Market Subcommittee (RMS) has requested 2:00 PM Ad Hoc Retail Market Calls on August 10, 2009 and August 17, 2009.

The purpose for these calls is to review the implementation of the new PUCT mandated rules regarding the expedited customer switch.

The first call is to provide the market with the opportunity to ask questions regarding the rule. The second call is to allow ERCOT and market participants the opportunity to discuss any issues that may have been discussed internally following the first call.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  The TEXAS SET WG has answered some questions. A Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) document is attached. Please review this document prior to the Ad Hoc Retail Market Call.
