SHORT DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT experienced an issue with processing which
created duplicate transactions sent to Market Participants. 

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  CRs and TDSPs

DAY AFFECTED:  August 27, 2008

LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT experienced an issue with the Electronic Data
Interface (EDI) Server on August 27, 2008.   As a result, ERCOT is
reprocessing some transactions.  Some Market Participants may receive
duplicate outbound transactions.  

Efforts are underway to indentify the volume and transactions that were
impacted.  Once all impacted transactions have been indentified, lists
will be provided to the affected Market Participants.
