NOTICE TYPE:  R-A080501-01 - Informational:  Changes to Customer Switch
Notification  

CLASSIFICATION: Public

SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Effective August 1, 2008, language changes requested
by the Public Utility Commission of Texas were made on the ERCOT
Customer Switch notifications.  

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  CRs and TDSPs  

DAY AFFECTED:  August 1, 2008  

LONG DESCRIPTION:  With notices mailed August 5, 2008, ERCOT began
printing the ERCOT Customer Switch Notifications using the revised
language approved by the Public Utility Commission of Texas.  A copy of
the new notification is attached.  All changes were made in both English
and Spanish.  Customer switches submitted prior to August 1, 2008 will
continue to receive the original version of the notification.  Switches
submitted on or after August 1, 2008 will have notices printed with the
updated language.  A copy of the notification is attached for your
reference.
