SHORT DESCRIPTION:  DAM collateral parameters - "e" factors
INTENDED AUDIENCE:  Market Participants who participate in ERCOT DAM
DAY AFFECTED:  April 6, 2011

LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT has posted on the ERCOT Market Information System (MIS), for all Counter-Parties (CPs), the bi-weekly "e" factors used to determine exposure for Day-Ahead Market (DAM) activity. The next regular "e" factor reset will begin on Friday, April 8, 2011, for the DAM Operating Day of April 9, 2011.

Each CP will receive an email notice today with the "e" factors that will be used.

As a result of this new process, "e" factor notification will no longer be mailed to CPs. In the future, CPs will only receive "e" factor notifications by email and through the MIS posting.

ACTION REQUIRED:  Please retrieve your "e" factor notice under the Service Tab on the MIS under the Credit Monitoring Reports. The name of the report is "DAM eFactors Update".

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  Email "e" factor notifications will be delivered to the CP's registered Authorized Representatives and Credit Contacts. MIS postings require digital certificate access granted by the Market Participant's User Security Administrator (USA).
