SHORT DESCRIPTION: REMINDER - Settlement implementation details for VC Automation Project

INTENDED AUDIENCE: QSE settlement personnel

DAY AFFECTED: June 26, 2012

LONG DESCRIPTION: ERCOT is implementing settlement changes to automate the updates to the Verifiable Costs (VC) and Operation and Maintenance above Low Sustained Limit (LSL) values. These changes have a planned production migration date of June 26, 2012, and will take effect immediately.

ACTION REQUIRED: Implement changes to shadow settlement systems.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Settlement extracts impacts include:

* New Bill Determinant for Verifiable Operation and Maintenance expense above LSL (OM) will be stored in the Verifiable Costs Inputs table. This data value was formerly populated in the Verifiable OM Curve $/MWh Value Point 1 - Point 10.

* The redundant columns from the Verifiable Costs Heat Rate Curve table (Number of OM Points, Verifiable OM Curve MW Value Point 1 - Point 10, and Verifiable OM Curve $/MWh Value Point 1 - Point 10) will now be populated with null values.

The Verifiable Costs for July will be calculated and populated by June 23, 2012, with the existing data. Be aware that when the new data goes into effect on June 26, 2012, you may receive a duplicate push of the July data in the new format. The calculation of the August 2012 Verifiable Costs is scheduled to be in the extracts by July 24, 2012, and will utilize the newly formatted data.
