SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Invalid posted results for the 2016.FEB.Monthly.Auction
INTENDED AUDIENCE:  CRR Account Holders, Counter-Parties and settlement personnel
DAY AFFECTED:  January 14, 2016
LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT has determined that the posted results for the 2016.FEB.Monthly.Auction are invalid due to a software issue. As a part of the monthly auction process, a Pre-assigned Congestion Revenue Right (PCRR) true-up allocation is completed before the monthly auction is run. For the impacted auction, the awarded PCRR allocations were not sent to the auction engine and were not correctly considered by the auction software. The error was discovered when the posted auction awards were sent to database tables for Settlement processing.
The currently posted auction results will be removed, and ERCOT will re-run the 2016.FEB.Monthly.Auction. The new results will be posted as soon as they are validated, and Invoices will be posted on the following Business Day in accordance the customary payment timeline.
When determined, a follow-up Market Notice will be sent to provide further details on the posting of the new results and the associated Invoice dates.
