SHORT DESCRIPTION:  DAM CODE Extract resettlement posted with incomplete data
INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants
DAY AFFECTED:  March 9, 2011
LONG DESCRIPTION:  The Day-Ahead Market Consolidated Operating Day Extract (DAM CODE) posted on March 9, 2011, for resettlement of Operating Day February 8, 2011, posted with incomplete data due to continued tuning efforts to keep runtimes within protocol requirements.
ERCOT posted the DAM CODE extract without the complete MKTINPUT themes (MKTINPUTHEADER, MKTINPUTINTERVAL, MKTINPUTSCALAR, MKTINPUTSTATUS files). The MKTINPUT record values were not updated in the resettlement and failed to be included as the records were outside the window for data inclusion. ERCOT has increased this window, rerun the extract and posted the new files for the resettlement of Operating Day February 8, 2011.
Although the data for the MKTINPUT themes has been rerun and is now included, the values in these files did not change from the previous DAM CODE run for that Operating Day.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  ERCOT is currently working on a longer term solution to account for older resettlement dates so this issue is not encountered in future DAM resettlements while still remaining within standard runtimes.
