SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Change to STARTTYPE calculation process for RUC-committed Resources
INTENDED AUDIENCE:  QSE Settlement Personnel
DAY AFFECTED:  March 28, 2011
LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT is implementing changes to the STARTTYPE calculation process for RUC-committed Resources. The changes have a planned production migration date of March 28, 2011, and will take effect on settlement runs for the following Operating Days:
*         March 22, 2011 - Initial
*         February 1, 2011 - Final
Operating Days December 1, 2010, through January 31, 2011, will be corrected on True-Up.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  The attached document provides further details of the process change.
Note the following changes to the bill determinants:

 *   STARTTYPE will no longer reside in the Settlement Inputs Data (SID) extract
 *   STARTTYPE will no longer reside in the MarketInputHeader/Interval table in the RTM CODE extract
 *   STARTTYPE will now reside in the Settlement Preprocessor Output Interval table in the RTM CODE extract

*         The DASTARTTYPE will remain unchanged.
