SHORT DESCRIPTION:  QSE Financial Statements due by August 29, 2008

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  QSE Financial Personnel

DAY AFFECTED:  August 29, 2008

LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT Protocol Section 16.2.8 requires all QSEs or
their guarantors to provide ERCOT with quarterly unaudited financial
statements not later than sixty (60) days after the close of the
issuer's fiscal quarters and annual audited financial statements no
later than 120 days after the close of the issuer's fiscal year.  ERCOT
would like to remind QSEs that:

*        The unaudited quarterly financial statements are due no later
than August 29, 2008 for QSEs or their guarantors whose quarter ended on
June 30, 2008. 

*        The unaudited quarterly financial statements were due on May
30, 2008 for QSEs or their guarantors whose quarter ended on March 30,
2008. 

ACTION REQUIRED:  QSEs should provide their financial statements to
ERCOT by the submittal date to avoid any remedial action as set forth in
