LONG DESCRIPTION:  In preparation for the implementation of Nodal Protocol Revision Request (NPRR) 377, Alternate Inputs to Base Point Deviation Charge, the Commercial Operations Subcommittee (COPS) will discuss NPRR377 and its impacts due to the required changes in the settlements DDL and XSD during its meeting on November 6, 2012. ERCOT has requested a Readiness Go/No Go vote at COPS on whether or not ERCOT should publish five-minute input data to the Base Point Deviation Charge. A follow-up Market Notice will be sent to communicate the results of the vote. Please have vendor and technical support available for the COPS discussion.
Impacts to extracts from NPRR377 were discussed at the Communications and Settlements Working Group (CSWG) meeting on September 17, 2012. ERCOT has summarized the discussion into a matrix displaying the impacts. The matrix is attached to this Market Notice and will also be posted on the COPS meeting calendar webpage (http://www.ercot.com/calendar/2012/11/20121106-COPS) prior to the meeting.
NPRR377 is planned to be implemented during the on-cycle R6 release scheduled for December 5 - 9, 2012.
