NOTICE DATE: July 9, 2013
NOTICE TYPE: M-B061213-02 Settlements
SHORT DESCRIPTION: ERCOT completed its investigation of the Simultaneous Feasibility Test (SFT) defect that affected certain Congestion Revenue Rights (CRRs) and identified required DAM Resettlements.
INTENDED AUDIENCE: CRR Account Holder and Settlement Personnel
DAYS AFFECTED: February 14, 2013 through June 13, 2013
LONG DESCRIPTION: As noted in a previous notice (M-B061213-01), ERCOT discovered a defect in the SFT process. SFT provides ERCOT Settlements with the data necessary to perform CRR deration calculations as defined in Nodal Protocols Section 7.9.1, Day-Ahead CRR Payments and Charges. This defect was introduced into ERCOT systems with the implementation of Nodal Protocol Revision Request (NPRR) 322, Real-Time PTP Option Modeling, which was released into production on Operating Day February 14, 2013 and was resolved effective Operating Day June 14, 2013.
ERCOT has completed its analysis, re-calculated the SFT data and associated settlement and determined that 14 Operating Days meet the 2% threshold that requires ERCOT to perform DAM Resettlements. Per paragraph (2) of Nodal Protocols Section 9.2.5: "ERCOT shall issue a DAM Resettlement Statement for a given DAM due to error in data other than prices when the total of all errors in data other than prices results in an impact greater than 2% of the total payments due to ERCOT for the DAM, excluding bilateral transactions
Below is the list of Operating Days that meet the 2% threshold and will be resettled. The DAM Resettlements are scheduled to begin the week of July 15, 2013 and be complete by the end of July 2013. The specific schedule is provided in the Settlement Calendar.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: ERCOT will communicate the specific resettlements through the Market Information System (MIS) notices, as required by the Protocols.
