SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Final Settlement Statements and associated extracts
for Operating Dates July 25 through August 1, 2008 will run early.

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  QSEs, LSEs and REs

DAY AFFECTED:  Operating Days July 25 through August 1, 2008 

LONG DESCRIPTION:  On the weekend of September 27 and 28, 2008, ERCOT
will conduct a technical migration of the Settlements and Billing
application and database. This migration was originally scheduled for
September 13 and 14, but was delayed due to Hurricane Ike. To reduce
risk to the market, ERCOT will run Final Settlements for Operating Dates
July 25 through August 1, 2008 in advance of the migration. 

There will be no impact to invoices, payments or dispute deadlines.
Market Participants will receive Final Settlement Statements and
associated extracts for the affected Operating Dates early. The impacted
extracts are Load, Generation and Settlements, and Billing. ERCOT will
update the Settlements Calendar on ERCOT.com accordingly.
