SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Load Shed Event Coordination Workshop and Web Ex

LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT will host a Load Shed Event Coordination Workshop on August 3, 2011, from 09:00 to 12:00 CDT at the ERCOT MET Center to examine the mechanics of the interaction between ERCOT and TSPs during load shed events, as well as improvements that can be made to this interaction. This workshop will discuss the capacity shortage event of February 2011, lessons learned from this event and recommendations for preventing and handling similar events in the future.

Workshop participants are not required to register in advance.
