SHORT DESCRIPTION:  A new Web-Based Training course for Transmission 101 is now available

LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT has published a Web-Based Training version of the Transmission 101 course. The course provides a detailed review of the roles and responsibilities of Transmission Service Providers (TSPs) in the ERCOT nodal market. The course is designed as a supplement to the Basic Training Program<http://nodal.ercot.com/training/courses/nc05.html> to emphasize the impacts of TSP functions, such as network modeling, outage scheduling and delivery of accurate real-time telemetry data on the operations of the ERCOT nodal market.
ACTION REQUIRED:  To access this and other Nodal market training courses, go to the Nodal training website at http://nodal.ercot.com/training/courses/index.html. To access the Transmission 101 course, select "View Schedule" for the "Transmission 101<http://nodal.ercot.com/training/courses/nc08.html>" course and then select "Enroll Online" to register using the Learning Management System (LMS).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  Market Participant training is an integral part of ERCOT's efforts to help Market Participants transition to the ERCOT Nodal Market. This course is part of a series of instructor-led and web-based training courses available to Market Participants.
