SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Preparations are underway for a Retail Market Participant Workshop:  MarkeTrak Workshop, taking place on June 3, 2009.
INTENDED AUDIENCE:  The MarkeTrak workshop is intended for current Market Participants who use the MarkeTrak tool on a daily basis.  Attendees need to have a basic knowledge of MarkeTrak and have been issued a digital certificate.
LONG DESCRIPTION:  Preparations are underway for a Retail Market Participant Workshop which will provide a detailed demonstration of MarkeTrak.
In this workshop, the Retail Client Services team will cover the following topics:

 *   MarkeTrak

    *   Overview
    *   Day-to-Day Issues
    *   Data Extract Variance (DEV) Issues
    *   Linking issues, Notifications and Item locks
    *   Bulk Insert
    *   Mass Update/Transition
    *   Reporting
    *   Administrative Roles

The deadline to register for the Retail Market Participant Workshop - MarkeTrak is Friday, May 22, 2009.

Training room capacity for this seminar is 50 people.  Registrations will be taken on a first come, first served basis.  Please keep this in mind when registering.  Due to limited space and materials, we cannot guarantee access to the sessions without prior registration.

Confirmation is subject to ERCOT receiving the required registration through ERCOT's Learning Management System (LMS).  If registration is not received, attendees may not be assured of participation in this training.

Note:  ERCOT reserves the right to reschedule the class for a future date if there is not sufficient interest in the course offering.

Upon logging into the LMS, the participant should select the course R.MPW001 - Retail Market Participant Workshop - MarkeTrak.
The only way to register for the Retail Market Participant Workshop - MarkeTrak is through the registration tool.  Emailed RSVP's will not be accepted.

Attached you will find a high level agenda of the topics being covered.  This same information can also be found on the ERCOT website link noted above.  A map and a list of area hotels have also been attached for your convenience.

Training material will be provided at the workshops.  Presentations used in the workshops will be posted to www.ercot.com<http://www.ercot.com/> after the workshop has occurred.
