SHORT DESCRIPTION: ERCOT to host Nodal Market Workshop for Retail Electric Providers
INTENDED AUDIENCE: Personnel from Retail Electric Providers or Load Serving Entities
DAY AFFECTED: Tuesday, November 9, 2010, 09:30 - 13:00 (CDT)
LONG DESCRIPTION: ERCOT will host a one-day workshop on topics of special interest to Load Serving Entities (LSEs) and Retail Electric Providers (REPs) and their preparation for the transition to the Texas Nodal Market. The workshop will be held in Austin on Tuesday, November 9, 2010, and will consist of panel discussions on selected nodal market topics related to the changes that the implementation of the nodal market will introduce to the business environment of REPs in the ERCOT market. The workshop will consist of two panels of invited guests that will share their ideas on the risks and opportunities of the new ERCOT nodal market for LSEs.
An agenda of the workshop and topics to be discussed by the panels will be sent as an update to this Market Notice once the details are finalized.
