The ERCOT emergency outage completed at approximately  5:03 PM today,
Wednesday, September 03, 2008.  All systems and transaction processing
were reinstated at that time.

As always, connectivity issues such as NAESB or TML can be reported to
the ERCOT Help Desk at 512-248-6800 or [log in to unmask] or tomorrow to
your ERCOT Account Manager.

SHORT DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT needs to take an emergency outage to improve
performance of the Settlements and Billing Database.  

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  CRs and TDSPs

DAY AFFECTED:  September 3, 2008 from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM         

DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT needs to take an emergency outage to improve
performance of the Settlements and Billing Database.  The outage will
begin at 4:30PM and is expected to last for approximately two hours.
This outage will impact Retail TML Find ESIID and Find Transaction
functionality, as well as delay 814_20 transaction processing.
