SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Issues with Digital Certificate Installation and Renewal
INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants, User Security Administrators and Back-up User Security Administrators
DAY AFFECTED:  May 6, 2016
LONG DESCRIPTION:  A recent software change to ERCOT's Digital Certificate application adding functionality for Windows 10 users included changes to the ActiveX component download. Due to this change, Market Participants have reported issues with the installation and renewal process. Changes have been implemented to resolve reported issues.
ACTION REQUIRED:  Market Participants should ensure the computers used in the installation and renewal of Digital Certificates are configured in accordance with the appropriate configuration guide located in the Public Data section of ERCOT.com at http://www.ercot.com/services/mdt/userguides.
