SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Notice of Application in P.U.C. Docket No. 47576 and Intervention Deadline

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants

DAY AFFECTED:  October 2, 2017

LONG DESCRIPTION:  On September 1, 2017, the City of Lubbock, through Lubbock Power & Light ("LP&L"), filed an application with the Public Utility Commission of Texas ("Commission") entitled Application of The City Of Lubbock through Lubbock Power And Light For Authority to Connect a Portion Of Its System With The Electric Reliability Council Of Texas ("Application"). The Application seeks the Commission's approval to transfer approximately 78% of LP&L's electric load from the Southwest Power Pool ("SPP") power region to the Electric Reliability Council of Texas ("ERCOT") power region. The Application includes a study that analyzes and evaluates issues related to moving LP&L's affected load. This Application has been assigned Commission Docket No. 47576.
