SHORT DESCRIPTION: ERCOT experienced an outage of ERCOT systems from 8:39 AM to 9:22 AM.
INTENDED AUDIENCE:  All Market Participants
DAYS AFFECTED:  June 24, 2009 from 8:39 AM to 9:22 AM
LONG DESCRIPTION: ERCOT experienced an outage of ERCOT systems on June 24 from 8:39 AM to 9:22 AM. The impacts as a result of the outage are:
Service Requests & Disputes
MPIM Digital Certificate Requests
Load Research Sampling for Load Profiling
Retail Transaction Processing (997s and 867 Forwards not affected during outage)
MarkeTrak (GUI and API)
TML (Report Explorer, Find ESIID, Find Transaction, and Schedule an Extract)
Retail Transaction impact analysis is complete. Below are the counts that required reprocessing. Reprocessing is complete.

Market Participants with impacted transactions will be contacted individually via e-mail.
The root cause has been identified. The hardware frame that services the UNIX servers experienced an issue. The resolution was to reboot all servers on the frame.
