Brief Description
The NERC GMDTF will meet to discuss topics in GMD research, data collection, and modeling of geomagnetically-induced currents (GIC) in the Bulk-Power System. These activities support NERC’s GMD research work plan<https://www.nerc.com/comm/PC/Geomagnetic%20Disturbance%20Task%20Force%20GMDTF%202013/GMD_Work%20Plan_Preliminary.pdf> and the TPL-007 reliability standard approved in FERC Order No. 830<http://www.nerc.com/filingsorders/us/FERCOrdersRules/E-4.pdf>. A draft agenda is attached.
